What a great way to start the visit! We were so lucky to have Justin show us the city with all it’s history, scenic spots and great places to eat and relax. The tour gave us a perfect overview of the city in a running tempo that we all could enjoy.. We would definitely recommend to do this as part of your trip!
Many thanks to Justin for amazing running tour in Vilnius. I am not an experienced runner, i am just in the beginning of my awesome "career" of a runner, so we kept the pace comfortable for me, but still it was a great workout. I enjoyed nice views (the hill of three crosses is stunning as well as the stairs), i enjoyed historical stories, i enjoyed good company, I had a wonderful conversation and of course i enjoyed running. Justin knows the city very well and ready to answer all kinds of questions either about history or places for jogging and training. I am looking forward to having another tour - this time together with my friends.
I came from Paris for several days to Vilnius and as a regular marathon runner, I decided to do a running tour after getting in touch on facebook. Despite the low temperatures (-10) I found it a great activity to get used to the climate and explore the city. We met on Sunday afternoon at the hotel in central Old Town and I got an excellent tour around the city with Justin and by surprise an accomplished ultra-runner Aidas Ardzijauskas joined us too!!. They showed me some amazing parts of the city that I wouldn't have discovered on my own. He told a lot of interesting stories about the history of the city while running. We manged to pack in a variety of sights, a nice panorama and parks in a 16km run. Justin was very communicative, friendly and informative, and also it was nice to hear from Aidas about his ultra-running experiences. You can choose what length and pace you want to run. We saw all the main attractions and it was absolutely fabulous. If you enjoy running and want a different way of seeing the city I can highly recommend this tour. Ps: Justin speaking several different languages , including French .
